April 9, 2007 – Al Stall Jr., who trains Ketchikan, who finished second in the Louisiana Derby (G2) had this to say when reporting B. Wayne Hughes’ colt was off the Derby trail:

“After we threw up our Easter dinner, we decided to try and figure out what was wrong and go straight to the clinic rather than waste time with field units.”

Ketchikan was found to have a bone bruise and will be off for an unknown period of time.
